Guy founded Praedium to combine skills in agribusiness management and sustainable agriculture.
He was raised on a poultry meat farm in Tamworth, New South Wales. Guy spent time on the farm before attending the University of Western Sydney where he completed a Bachelor of Applied Science – Systems Agriculture. After a stint with Inghams it was off overseas travelling and working for companies such as Grampian Country Food Group (now Hook 2 Sisters). He returned 2 years later and took up a Livestock Administration Management role with Baiada in Tamworth.
In 2004 Guy joined Merial (a Sonofi Company) in Large Animal Sales based in NSW, whilst helping run the family farm. The love of agriculture saw him return to the family business and with that a decision to expand it. In 2009 the expansion of the broiler business was centred around Tamworth with construction finalised at the end of that year.
In 2013 he was awarded a Nuffield Scholarship to travel overseas to study broiler management and renewable energy.
